NOTIFICATION

(CUSTOMS)

S.R.O. 1250(I)/2008.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections

(2) and (3) of section 98 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal

Government is pleased to-

(a) extend up to the 31st December, 2008, the period for which

warehoused goods may remain in the warehouse; and

(b) remit penal surcharge in the case of goods which are removed from

the warehouse within the period from the 6th December, 2008 to the

31st December, 2008.

The facility provided by this notification shall not be available in

respect of the goods which have since been abandoned or auctioned under the

rules.
